EU Legal Guarantee
Learn more about your legal guarantee rights on Your Europe.
Physical Products
Physical products sold by The Assembly Line are covered by the statutory legal guarantee of conformity applicable under EU and national consumer law.
If a product is faulty or does not conform to the contract, you may have the right to have the product repaired or replaced free of charge. Depending on the circumstances, you may also be entitled to a price reduction or a refund.
EU law provides a minimum two-year legal guarantee for goods. National laws may provide longer protection. In Sweden, consumers have a three-year statutory right to make a claim for defects in goods.
These statutory rights are separate from any voluntary commercial guarantee or warranty.
If you believe that a physical product is faulty or does not conform to the contract, please contact us at hello@theassemblylineshop.com and include your order number and a description of the issue.
Digital Products
Our digital PDF sewing patterns are digital content and are covered by statutory consumer rights relating to digital content.
If a digital product is faulty, does not conform to the contract, or does not function as described, you may have the right to have the issue remedied free of charge. Depending on the circumstances, this may include bringing the digital content into conformity, a price reduction or termination of the contract.
These statutory rights are separate from the right of withdrawal.
For digital PDF patterns, the right of withdrawal may end when delivery of the digital content begins, provided that you have expressly requested immediate delivery and acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal. This does not affect your statutory rights if the digital content is faulty or does not conform to the contract.
If you experience a problem with a digital PDF pattern, please contact us at hello@theassemblylineshop.com and include your order number and a description of the issue.
