Yet again a perfect fit for me! Made this one in a 100% linen worn over a boxpleat dress, very easy to sew and as always easy to follow instructions. Combines perfectly with the other TAL patterns....love it so much i bought some thick wool fabric for a wintery one

Love to see patterns from this decade! Love the simplicity of not needing to copy the pattern first. The guide is detailed and clear and explains the basic steps like darts, tacks and overlocking in places you need so that a beginner can manage. Adjusted the hem just a bit wider to resize it as XL. I'm fairly seasoned, but had to twist my brain at step where you pin the collar. Tried to spy the product pics on this page, but didn't help as the seam was in the shadow. Some pics show clearly the places of the the reinforcements. Maybe consider this in future pics? I chose a mid weight cotton, the only thing I'd do differently would not to add the lining for the belts. It took me one weekend to finish in a leisurely pace.
