Patternhack - Multisleeve...blouse
I was immediately taken with the wonderful box pleat sleeves, but wanted a top rather than a dress. So I altered the pattern accordingly: I replaced the zip in the back seam with a button and loop closure and straightened the side seams. And because I wanted a more casual look, I chose size M instead of S.

Perfect dress for every occasion
I have sewn this dress twice, with long sleeves and with the pleated sleeves. I love them both. Because the neck was too high for my tasting I made it deeper and as a side effect I don’t need the zipper anymore. The first version came out a little bit small for my hips, but with the tutorial from TAL it is easy to make the skirt fit.

Options for cup sizes please
Although the dress made in brown corduroy eventually turned out okay, it was an absolute pain to sew. Why or why when the average bust size in the U.K. alone is a 36DD do all pattern companies not offer different cup size options within their patterns. I am a 34DD and altering this pattern took all the fun out of the sewing element. The bodice now has darts from the waist and the same in the back as well as other alterations to ensure that the fabric does not crease and bag around my rib cage and back. The dress is still by no means ‘fitted’. Please pattern drafters take note as other pattern companies are starting to and now offer cup size options in their patterns. A size ‘B’ cup is relatively small nowadays and I am by no means the only women who has this complaint.
The Assembly Line Shop
Hi Julie, many thanks for leaving a review and letting us know about the disappointment on cup size. We can't promise there will be others available but of course we'll take it into consideration. Kind regards, Anki THE ASSEMBLY LINE

Multipurpose dress
I loved sewing this dress, very clear and perfect instructions.....there’s a choise of 3 different sleeves and extra armhole facings for a sleeveless one. The possibilities are endless with this pattern....the dress has a bit of a fitted top with an a-line skirt wich can easily be shortend or lengthened.....it’s a gorgeous simple dress with a fabulous fit!!!
