Not even cut out and already instructions are wrong
Not impressed with the incorrect layout for cutting out,I see it is mentioned in another review , you say it is corrected, I just bought this pattern which is expensive and it is not corrected. Have wasted time nd very nearly ended up with an extra unnecessary seam and wasted fabric. Not good enough.
Quick and easy elegance
I love this pattern and it was a pleasure to sew. I didn't have any issues with the original neckline instructions. With limited seams, I also made this in quick time. I am 163cm so I shorted by 6cm which made this ankle length. I would've appreciated lines of where best to shorten, but I figured it out. The other thing is the cutting layout doesn't line up with the sewing instructions. The cutting layout has the front panels on the selvage, but there are no steps in the instructions that says you need to sew the two front panels together. The front panels need to be placed on the fold, which may require more fabric than is stated. I ended up using around 2.5m for 140-150cm fabric, which is 20cm more than stated even though I took out 6cm from the length.
The Assembly Line Shop
Hi Jessica! Thank you for the kind review and so sorry the fabric layout was misleading. We have updated the assembly instruction with a correct layout. Best regards, Anki
Kaftan dress confusion
I love the look of this pattern. I’d read reviews about the complicated front pleat/placket instructions but I’d already cut the original piece by then. Feeling confident, I thought I could make it work. But I just didn’t get it at all. It seems overly complicated. So I didn’t really enjoy making it, and the finish isn’t great.

Perfect summer beach dress
easy to use and understand. A little fiddly with the fold, but that was rather me making it complicated.
Kaftan
