Can you tell I am happy? I am so pleased with the fit and style of this jumpsuit - I made two in a row and am planning my third. The pattern is very easy to follow, the pieces fit together perfectly with nothing fussy or difficult. The pattern is written in very logical, easy-to-follow and concise way so it was a pleasure to sew.
Depending on your fabric choice this jumpsuit can dress-up or dress down. I didn't even bother sewing myself a belt because I love the look and feel of the loose fit. I sewed one jumpsuit in a heavy hemp canvas and another in a 10 oz railroad denim (see pic) and both were suitable for this pattern. I'm going to try a summer weight fabric next, or maybe make a version without sleeves.
I'm 5'5 and usually wear a size L/XL in North American size. This is still quite roomy on me. Like most other jumpsuits, you do need to "wiggle" a little to get into your jumpsuit. That's part of the jumpsuit lifestyle ;) The crotch would have to be dropped too low in order to make it any easier to get dressed, so I think the pattern has captured a good blend of style and comfort.
My railroad denim version (fabric from Blackbird Fabrics) has no adjustments. I used heavy duty brass snaps as closures since I'm still afraid of buttonholes :) I'd say that this pattern is very beginner friendly. Be patient, take the time to finish your seams properly and you'll end up with a garment you will love for years to come. Although the pattern doesn't call for it, there are lots of opportunities where you could add topstitching to give a different look.
I'm really enjoying wearing this with the legs rolled up a little.

Any tips or advice to other makers?Be careful when cutting out your pattern pieces and make sure you're paying attention since the front right and left are separate pieces. I made a mistake with my first jumpsuit and cut out two front rights.
Excellent cut. I'm usually too long in the torso for conventional jumpsuit patterns. I also have a large bust and found the sizing very generous. The only thing I would suggest is maybe lengthening the placket just to make it easier to get into and out of.

I love this elegant pattern so much I made three in a row. As with all TAL patterns, it comes together like a satisfying puzzle. Their patterns are so precise the way that they fit together that you indeed want to slow down and pin it just right and sew it just right. I have learned the concept of “slow make” through this pattern.
I made this in my regular size out of a woven and then sized down when making with a stretch twill. I made no adjustments.

Any tips or advice to other makers?Think about whether your fabric has stretch or not when selecting your size.
I loved this pattern! I made the jumpsuit in a size S with cotton lawn fabric. I found the length of the jumpsuit to be slightly shorter than I would like - I would extend the length when I make the jumpsuit again. I used cuffs at the bottom legs instead of fold back hems. When I work with this pattern next time, I might also use cuffs on the sleeves. Instead of using snap fasteners, I decided to use buttons because I had the buttons handy. I would make this jumpsuit again in other types of fabrics.
Any tips or advice to other makers?I used cotton lawn for the jumpsuit, but I think it may have been too light.
